Staffordshire Police are currently investigating a number of incidents in the Fenton area regarding a group of Rogue Traders who have been conducting gutter cleaning scams for large sums of money.
On the morning of March 10th 2026, a group of males, driving a blue Peugeot 508 estate, wearing high visibility clothing, have targeted an number properties on various street across the Fenton area, offering services on the doorstep to cleaning peoples gutters on their homes. These males have then taken large sums of money as payment for these services from a number of victims.
We at Staffordshire Police are advising members of the community to be vigilant in identifying possible rogue trader scams. Here are a few tips to taken into consideration if an unexpected caller knocks on your door.
If you are unsure of the legitimacy of an unexpected caller to your door, end the conversation and contact the police for advice.
If you believe that yourself or someone you know have been the victim of a rogue trader scam, or you believe that rogue traders have visited your address, then please contact Staffordshire Police on 101 or via our online portal. | ||
